When purchasing from DARRY for the first time, you'll be required to upload a valid ID of yours (passport, driver's license, or any government-issued ID) and a front-facing picture (selfie) of yourself. This step is part of our True Love Verification system.

We use, do not store, your ID and front-facing picture to create a unique Darry Ring ID number within the DARRY system, which is uniquely bound to your verified identity.

Our system uses facial recognition technology to cross-check your identity against existing records, ensuring that each customer dedicates their DARRY purchases to one person only.

Only verified DARRY accounts may purchase jewelry. If your identity has already been verified, new accounts cannot be verified again. To complete your purchase, please sign in to the original DARRY account linked to your verified identity to honor our core belief of “One Love, One Lifetime.”

We implement this process to uphold our brand policy and our belief in creating truly meaningful and exclusive experiences. You can rest assured that your ID and selfie will be permanently deleted after creating your Darry Ring ID, which is a numerical representation of your data and does not contain any private information.

We prioritize your privacy by using a two-step verification process with independent partners to ensure your data is securely handled.

Here's How It Works:

ID Document Verification: When you upload a photo of your ID document, it is sent to Company A via a secure API. This service verifies the document's authenticity, and importantly, the photo is never stored on our servers.

Selfie Verification: Next, you upload a front-facing picture. This photo is sent to Company B's web API for facial recognition. The system matches your selfie with the ID photo and checks against a secure database to prevent duplicates. Similarly, your selfie is not stored with us.

We do not mention the names of our partners to maintain an extra layer of security of where your data is being handled. Compliance with GDPR and CCPA laws is strictly followed by our partners.

A More Technical Explanation

We use two separate providers to handle your ID document and selfie independently. Instead of storing actual photos, we create a numerical representation of your data (e.g., "8371058251"). This ID is used to manage your account securely without retaining any personal data.

Double the Bouncers, Double the Security

Imagine two bouncers at an exclusive club. The first bouncer checks your ID document, hands it back immediately without making any copies, and then communicates with the second bouncer.

The second bouncer checks your selfie, also hands it back without making any copies of it, and confirms your identity with the first bouncer. Together, they create your unique club membership number, which will be your "Darry Ring ID" (a 10-digit* number).

*The number of digits may increase as our customers grow.

This number identifies you in our system, ensuring your privacy is maintained throughout.

Why Two Partners?
Using two distinct providers ensures that your ID document and selfie are never processed together in the same system, significantly reducing the risk of data breaches.

Your Privacy Matters

Our approach ensures the highest level of security for your personal information throughout the Darry Ring authentication process.

Your actual documents will never be seen by anyone—not by us, nor by any individuals (actual people) from our partner organizations.

Manual Override: ID Verification Issues

In rare cases where automated verification is challenging, such as when facial features are extremely similar or there are unique details in the ID document, we offer a manual DARRY authentication option.

To facilitate this, we may temporarily store the pictures you upload, allowing our customer service team to review them and make an informed decision. Once a decision is made , and the customer's service ticket is updated, the pictures are automatically deleted from our systems within one week.

The True Love Agreement

After purchasing a single piece from DARRY's Commitment Stage, including Engagement, Wedding, or Marriage Celebration Collections, and completing payment, you and your partner will be invited to sign the True Love Agreement. Issued by DARRY, this agreement serves as a testament to your unwavering commitment to True Love for the rest of your lives.

By signing the True Love Agreement, you and your beloved are affirming your choice of each other as soulmates for life. This agreement is signed in conjunction with DARRY's ID Verification, supporting our commitment to pure, genuine, and lasting love.
