1. Contact Information

To create your digital identity with us, we collect your first and last name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and other similar contact details. At DR, you may only purchase products for your one and only true love. If you choose an ID Verification product, facial template verification will be required. This template will be permanently linked to the designated recipient information of your one and only true love. The name associated with this account cannot be changed or deleted.

2. Profile Information

We collect details such as your interests, favorites, wish list items, and ring size preferences. We may also collect protected classification characteristics and demographic information, such as gender, age, race, marital status, nationality, and other personal profile details.

3. Content Information

We collect content from messages you send to us, including feedback, product reviews, inquiries to customer support, and social media posts.

This information helps us provide personalized solutions and products, and allows our customer care team to build a more meaningful and heartfelt connection with you.

4. Payment Information

To process your payment, we collect necessary details such as your payment instrument number (e.g., credit card number or financing account information) and its expiration date.

5. Information About Your Use of Our Services

We may collect information about your device and your use of our services and online activities, such as browser type and version, device operating system, language, country, frequently visited areas of the website, and time of access.

When you visit our website, we also automatically collect your device’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address. We may also collect other device-related identifiers such as browser ID and device ID.

True Love Verification Technology

To uphold our commitment to “a lifetime with one true love,” we require True Love Verification when you choose an ID Verification product. During your first interaction, you will be asked to submit a facial image and a valid identification document (such as a passport or national ID).

Our True Love Verification technology generates a unique 10-digit code by combining the biometric representation created from your facial image with the data from your valid ID document. This numerical template is used solely for identity recognition purposes and does not store or reference the original images.

The generated template is securely stored in our database. For future interactions, the system will use this pre-created template to verify your identity, ensuring that your original ID documents and facial images are never stored, thereby protecting your privacy.

Data Security

Protecting your data is our top priority. We implement robust, industry-standard measures to safeguard the personal information you provide, including encryption, access controls, and regular security audits, in order to prevent accidental, unlawful, or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure, or use.

However, it is important to recognize that no method of online transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. We remain committed to continuously improving our security measures to protect your data to the greatest extent possible.

Data Retention

We retain each category of personal information we collect for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, including to meet legal, regulatory, or business needs. In practice, retention periods will vary depending on the type of information and the context in which it was collected. Our data verification and review process considers ongoing business or legal needs for the information—such as those related to taxation, security, and actual or potential disputes or investigations.

For example, to uphold our “One True Love for a Lifetime” commitment, if you choose an ID Verification product, we may retain your order information indefinitely. This includes the purchaser’s name, date of birth (as shown on a legal ID), facial biometric template, and essential order details. If you choose other types of products, we may also retain your order information indefinitely, including the purchaser’s name and the recipient’s name, to verify compliance with this core promise.

If you do not agree with this data retention policy, it may conflict with our core business philosophy, purchase rules, and registration agreement. Therefore, by registering and placing an order, you are deemed to have fully accepted and agreed to this policy.

In accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), when we retain data for the performance of contractual or legal obligations, we do so in line with our registration agreement and applicable laws. In certain cases, we may also retain and process data where it is necessary for reasons of public interest or to carry out tasks such as public health monitoring.

Data Transfers

Your information, including personal data, may be transferred and processed by DR Luxury USA Inc. and its affiliates across your state, or in other countries globally, where data protection laws may differ. We will ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers, such as using Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), obtaining your consent, or other lawful methods for transferring personal information. By agreeing to this Privacy Policy, you are deemed to have granted us your authorization and consent for such transfers.

In the application of the True Love Verification technology, the facial image and ID document image you submit are processed by two different third-party entities. These entities do not send any images to Darry Ring, but instead generate a unique digital sequence for your Darry Ring ID. To further enhance security, unless required by applicable law and upon your request, we will not proactively disclose the names of these partners to prevent potential data leakage.

Your Rights and Choices

You have certain data protection rights. DR is committed to taking reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your personal data.

If you would like to know what personal data we hold about you, or if you wish to have it deleted from our system, please contact us. In certain cases, you have the following data protection rights:

Right of Access: You can access, update, or delete the personal data we hold about you. Whenever possible, you can directly access, update, or request deletion of your personal data in your account settings. If you are unable to perform these actions, please contact us for assistance.
Right of Rectification: If your personal information is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request correction, but this does not include the information related to the recipient you are associated with.

You can also request that we not sell or disclose your personal information to third parties. Please note, we do not sell your personal information. However, in order to provide most of our services and allow you to access our website, we need to share certain aspects of your personal information with our third-party service providers. Therefore, such requests may impact how you use and access our website and services.

You can also request that we and any third parties with whom we have shared your personal information delete it.
