Darry Ring: How Did You Two Meet?
Jay: We were set up on a date by our mutual friend, who thought we would like each other. He had no idea how much we would like each other! Neither did we. Neither of us had ever been on a blind date, and to be honest, I almost backed out at the last minute.

We arranged to meet at a restaurant and I got there early. As I watched women walk in, I was prepared to be disappointed but still hopeful. Then I saw this absolutely gorgeous girl, with long brown hair come in the door. No way, I thought --- too perfect. But to my complete surprise, she walked right up to me and asked, “Are you Jay?” I could barely answer!

Jenece: I was so nervous that I was surprised I could talk at all. And Jay exaggerates a little. I had just come from a late meeting at work and I was sure I looked like a nervous, tired wreck. But I looked into his eyes and forgot everything else. He had the warmest smile and such a kind face, and he’s tall --- I love that. 💗

Jay: Well, if you count from the first date, which we do, we have been a couple for exactly 754 days.

Darry Ring: What is the Most Amazing Thing About the Two of You?
Jay: I think it’s that we found each other. We complement each other in so many ways. Jenece is so helpful and sweet to me in every aspect. She has contributed greatly to my professional success as well.
